User Profile

Its really important to be able to communicate who your Users are and understand the differences between each group. Profiles are a great way to do this. User Research can help you to start building them and this template allows you to capture the important parts of their story.

Each section of the template identifies the type of evidence for you to collate. As you start to build your profile, don't worry if one piece of evidence starts off in one box but ends up in other - all part of the learning curve!

Note that to avoid people feeling a single person represents the whole profile group, it is recommended at this stage to avoid including Demographics and also avoid giving the profile a persons name. There are a number of blank templates included here to allow you to produce a number of profiles and if you need anymore, just copy one and recolour your new one. So off you go and start building your profiles - have fun!
