ACT Matrix
The ACT Matrix is a simple visual tool designed to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, actions, and values. It helps you gain clarity about what matters most and guides you in making choices that align with your values (or any area you want to evaluate).
The matrix consists of a 2x2 grid that divides your experiences into four quadrants:
Toward Moves – Actions that bring you closer to your values.
Away Moves – Actions that take you further from your values.
Internal Experiences – Thoughts, feelings, and sensations you experience within yourself.
External Actions – Behaviors and interactions you take in the world.
This simple framework encourages mindfulness, awareness, and intentional action.
